I HAVE HEARD IT ALL NOW! Can you imagine being sentenced to ten years in prison for receiving a blow job?
That's what happened to Genarlow Wilson, who was seventeen years old at the time of his arrest. He had never been in trouble with the law, had a 3.2 GPA, and was on his high school football team. He was about to enter his last semester of high school.
Then, he received a blowjob from a fifteen year old girl at a party he attended. She is ONE YEAR younger than the required age for consensual sex in Georgia. And it was consensual. She even admits it. The act was even videotaped by other people in the room.
Can somone help me understand why this boy must lose ten years of his life for this? Why must his parents lose TEN YEARS with their son? I am outraged over this. Genarlow has been in jail since February 2005. Now, take a minute and think of all the things you have done since 2005. Can you imagine missing out on all of those things over CONSENSUAL oral sex???
PLEASE go HERE and sign the petition for his release and also to help prevent him from having to register as a Sex Offender.

I now pronounce you Chuck & Larry
I never do movie reviews, however after seeing I now pronounce you Chuck & Larry, I had to write about it.
GO SEE THIS MOVIE!
Not only is it very funny, it also has such a positive message about homosexuality. That message being..........homophobia is silly. Homophobia is ignorant. Homophobia hurts.
Adam Sandler and Kevin James are two of my favorite comedy actors and the movie is filled with laughs, but it's so much more than that. Through laughter a very important message is being sent out; Being a homosexual doesn't make you a bad person. Live your life the way you want, and let others do the same.

I hate to say I told you so, but I did.
Some of you may remember my blog about Madeleine McCann. She is the little girl that went missing while on vacation with her family in Portugal. To view the original blog, go to: No equal treatment in America (in my May blogs). Charges have still not been filed against the parents for leaving her alone in her hotel room.
On June 12, 2007 a fire broke out in Pittsburgh claiming the lives of five young children. Daekia Holyfield, 7; Cedano Holyfield, 4; Dezekiah Holyfied, 3; Azquel Rankin, 5; and Andre Rankin, 6. Two eight year boys were able to escape the fire uninjured.
Two Mothers of the five children killed had left the children alone, for a reported 15 to 20 minutes, while they went to a bar and had one beer. Shakita Mangham and Fuhara “T” Love are facing charges of Involuntary Manslaughter, reckless endangering firefighters, endangering the welfare of children, and one count of making false reports to police. The false report charge stemmed from Mangham’s initial report that the children were left with a babysitter, which later proved to be false.
WHERE IS THE EQUAL TREATMENT HERE????? Can anyone tell me WHY these women are facing such harsh punishment when Madeleine’s McCann’s parents are being celebrated and supported? THEY ARE ALL GUILTY! If the McCann’s had been in the hotel room with their children, they could possibly prevented the kidnapping of their daughter. It Mangham and Love were at home with their children, they could have possibly saved their children’s lives.
It really upsets me to think that money, race or community status. I’m so tired of seeing it. In cases like these, EQUAL TREATMENT should be enforced.

I am not afraid.........of gay people.
Talk about a subject that gets people upset! Talk about homosexuality. I have always went with the motto: People fear what they do not understand. Homosexuality is something people fear. Yet I can't understand why.
Let me clear up some myths about gay people.
1. They are NOT sexual predators looking for a chance to leap on the first unsuspecting person.
2. They are NOT in need of conversion.
3. Some of them actually believe in God and worship him.
4. Their homosexuality is NOT contagious.
I am amazed that when I tell people one of my relatives is a lesbian, the first thing people usually say is, "Has she ever tried anything with you?" SHE IS MY AUNT! FAMILY! These same people have never asked me if my Uncle has ever tried anything with me. Why would my Aunt try anything with me????
Also, these same ignorant people will take a step back away from ME because my relative is a lesbian. As if, by being related, I will pass on homosexuality to them!
Another popular response is, "Has she tried therapy?"
WHAT A BUNCH OF IDIOTS! What a bunch of uninformed, sexually predjudiced morons!

Teen loses feet on amusement park ride
Since reading this headline last Friday, I have been unable to get this story out of my mind. I’ve waited to write about it, hoping the details would become clearer. They haven’t. To view the details of this story, please go here: http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/06/22/six.flags.accident/index.html
This has to be one of the most horrific things that could happen to a person. Imagine, having your feet completely amputated without any pain killers, anesthetic, or even warning! This poor girl will have nightmares the rest of her life! And IF they have been able to reattach her feet, surely they will never work the same.
BUT HERE’S THE THING! Here’s what has really got me speechless. I’ve talked to several people about this story, and all but one had the same response. “She’ll be rich though.” Every single person, except the one, responded with a comment about money. Would money make it all better?
My question to you is, would you be willing to go through the same ordeal as this young girl did in order to cash in? And if so, what’s your price?
As for me, there’s not enough money in the world.

Illegal Immigration
How do you feel about allowing Illegal Immigrants to live in the United States? If you are “on the fence” (pun intended) about the issue, then maybe this will help put things into perspective.
I DID NOT write what is to follow. It was emailed to me and I thought it was great.
Certain people are angry that the US might protect its own borders, might make it harder to sneak into this country and, once here, to stay indefinitely.
Let’s see if I correctly understand the thinking behind these protests.
Let's say I break into your house.
But I say, "I've made all the beds and washed thedishes and did the laundry and swept the floors. I've done all the things you don't like to do.”
According to the protesters:
You are Required to let me stay in your house
If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my RIGHT to be there.

Extreme Breastfeeding
I came across this video and could NOT believe what I was seeing! This woman allows her five and eight year old daughters to breastfeed!
Whether you are for breastfeeding, or against it, you have to admit that seeing these young girls latch on to their Mother's breast is disturbing. It seems incestuous! The girls appear to be obsessed with their Mother's breasts. They don't like for their Mother to wear a bra. They have nicknames for their Mother's breasts. They spend free time drawing pictures of them. What is going on here?????
Obviously in American this would not be tolerated. In America breasts are for entertainment only, to be enjoyed by paying customers, not by hungry children. A woman can bear her breasts at any given time or place and it will be accompanied by cheers. However, attach a young child to that breast and it becomes offensive.
So where do I stand on the issue of breastfeeding? I think it is a beautiful thing to see a baby feeding from it's Mother. But you've gone too far when you put an eight year old at the end of that breast. But then again, that's what therapy is for.
